Intended Use
This information sheet contains instructions needed to order supplies to assist with collection and shipping of test specimens to Antel BioSystems, Inc. (AntelBio) for diagnostic testing. Test sample collection requires preparation. Please read through all sample collection and shipping information before beginning the sample collection process.
Supplies- AntelBio Kits
- To order a kit that contains all supplies needed to sample, package and ship test samples to AntelBio for diagnostic testing, please call 1.800.631.3510 or email lab@antelbio.com. Please specify what type of kit (milk, feces, blood, tissue) and how many sample collection containers you would like shipped to you.
- The cost of shipping is included when ordering a kit from AntelBio.
- Fecal Sample Collection kit contains:
- Plastic fecal specimen collection containers
- Plastic notched spoons
- Plastic sleeves
- Styrofoam shipping container with absorbent packaging material and ice packs
- Milk Sample Collection kit contains:
- DHIA snap-cap 40mL milk container containing Broad Spectrum Microtabs™ (D&F Control Systems, Inc.)
- Foam milk container shipping racks or Styrofoam shipping container
- Blood Sample Collection kit contains:
- Red cap sterile Vacutainer® tubes
- Vacutainer® needles
- Vacutainer® needle holders
- Styrofoam shipping container with absorbent packaging material and ice packs
